Loco Vibrato’s self-described “cowboy instrumentals and gringo jazz” incorporates decades of rock, country and jazz stylings into a unique sound! In their hands, a classic like Jimmy Smith’s “Back At The Chicken Shack” bounces along with a liberal dose of funk, while Jimmy Webb’s “Wichita Lineman” is shaped into a lush tribute to its storied songwriter.
Together, guitarist Bob Irwin, bassist Chopper Anderson, keyboardist Freeman White and drummer Chris Fisher create a fun, upbeat soundscape that defies classification, relying on the power of melody and improvisation – it’s a wordless language, with no translation required!
KC (Karen Czajka) will keep you captivated with her fascinating ability to transition from the vocal styling’s of Rhianna to the gritty rock legend Stevie Nicks. The assertive rhythm of Jerry Thorpe on drums will lock you in the groove as he knows when and how to turn up the heat! When you hear the horns, piano, organ and strings you will look around wondering where all the other members are hiding but it is the very talented Robert Foster laying down all that sound. Jim Cline will take your breath away with his very tasteful lead guitar and his strong vocals singing tunes from George Strait to Mick Jagger. When bassist Ray Garcia slaps you with some Uptown Funk, you won’t be able to stay in your seat!
She was born and raised in the world of country music thanks to her father Pete Wasner, who is Vince Gill's pianist of over 30 years and a singer/songwriter himself. At just 14, Mackenzie sang alongside Gill at The Mother Church of Country Music, the Ryman Auditorium. At age 17, the judges on Season 12 of American Idol lauded her "star power" and "gorgeous" voice as they unanimously sent her to Hollywood.
A seasoned live performer, Mackenzie has opened for Amy Grant, Jodee Messina and Vince Gill, among others. She is currently crafting new songs, playing shows in the southeast and pursuing her dream to become a country music recording artist.
Mackenzie feels truly blessed by all of the great opportunities she has enjoyed to this point, and is excited to see what the future holds! Mackenzie Wasner is one to watch!
